GENERAL INFORMATION

How to get to the racecourse?

Pinjarra Race Club is situated on Racecourse Road, Pinjarra, an idyllic location 85km south-west of Perth in the beautiful Peel Region.

Coming from Perth via South West Highway:

Turn into Adelaide Road on the approach to Pinjarra. Continue via Grandstand Avenue.
This entry is open on racedays only! Please use the access via Williams and Racecourse Road on non-racedays.

Coming from Bunbury via South West Highway:

Drive through Pinjarra and turn right after the bridge into Williams Road (look for the Premier Hotel at the corner). Your second street to the left is Racecourse Road.

Coming from Mandurah or Perth via Kwinana Freeway:

Go along Pinjarra Road, turn left at the traffic lights in Pinjarra onto the South West Highway. Turn right after the bridge into Williams Road (look for the Premier Hotel at the corner). Your second street to the left is Racecourse Road.

Parking and Transport

Free public parking is available at the entrance to the racecourse. Our friendly car park staff will guide you.

Train Services run daily between Perth and Bunbury, stopping at Pinjarra. It’s only a short walk from Pinjarra Train Station to the racecourse. Please see the link for details.

Trains run regularly between Perth and Mandurah. You can catch the Special Raceday Bus from the Mandurah Train Station to Pinjarra Park. Please see the link for the Train Timetable.

A special Bus Service is available on every race meeting. Please contact Peel Bus Hire & Charters or ring the office to book your seat. Booking is essential!
Pick up points are Cobblers Tavern, Peel Ale House Halls Head, Mandurah TAB, Silver Sands Tavern, Mandurah Train Station, Ravenswood Hotel and Sandy Cove Tavern.
Price (return): $20 per seat.

Members’ Lounge Guest Passes are available at the raceday office for persons who meet the Members' Area Dress Code. These passes are used for entry to the Members’ Area only and are not valid for entry into the racecourse.  Passes will not be available on Special Event Days (e.g. Pinjarra Cup).

Racebooks

Racebooks are available on every race meeting at the Merchandising Kiosk or the Raceday Office. Price: $4

Raceday Entertainment

Visitors to Pinjarra Park will enjoy a variety of entertainment and activities throughout the racing season. Themed racedays, live music, special events, raceday competitions, promotions, draws and more are on offer to entertain you!

For our younger guests we offer free Children’s Entertainment on weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
Children’s Entertainment provided on a rotating basis includes Balloon Twister, Bouncy Castles, Face Painting and Pony Rides.

What can I bring to the races at Pinjarra Park?

You can bring your own food and non alcoholic drinks to Pinjarra Park. Your own food may be consumed in the grounds, but not in the restaurants and or the Members' Area.

Please note that it is a condition of entry to the racecourse that all bags and other carriers (such as drink coolers, flasks, eskies etc.) are allowed to be searched for prohibited goods prior to your entry to the racecourse. 

Prohibited goods are:
- Alcoholic beverages and glassware
- Market umbrellas, mobile structures and tents
- Animals other than guide dogs
- Flags, balloons and banners (unless with prior written consent from the Pinjarra Race Club)


BAR AND RESTAURANT FACILITIES

Pinjarra Park has a variety of on-course hospitality facilities that cater for all your needs. There is a great range of options available to excellent prices for everyone. No one needs to be hungry or thirsty!

Relax and enjoy our friendly hospitality in the upstairs Bridles Restaurant, the air-conditioned Family of Man Restaurant, at the bar or in a private gazebo under the shady trees.

Bridles Restaurant is located within the elevated Members’ Area and provides the best views of the racecourse, making it the perfect setting for a very special day at the races.
Watch the racing action from the comfort of your reserved table and follow interstate racing on the TVs.
Bridles Restaurant is equipped with Bar and Tote Facilities as well as TV-Monitors above the tables. Please contact the office for bookings.

The air-conditioned Family of Man Restaurant will provide you with a great range of meals, from snacks to three course menus. Assorted beverages are sold in the restaurant as well. If you wish to book a table, please call the office.

A variety of takeaways is available from the Takeaway-Window which is located at the outside of the Family of Man Restaurant.

Pinjarra Park is fully licenced and for that reason alcohol cannot be brought into the racecourse.
Enjoy a cool drink at the Main Bar and be close to the betting action. Meet the trainers and owners at the Leger Bar or relax at the Bookies Bar. 

There are also separate bar facilities and light refreshments available in the Members’ Area. 

A Sausage Sizzle and Ice-cream Van complete the hospitality options on most race days.

OTHER FACILITIES

Raceday Office

The Raceday Office is the main contact point for any enquiries on racedays. It is located next to the Mounting Yard and Jockeys Area.

The Raceday Office has EFTPOS Facilities available and sells Racebooks, Stubby Holders and Members’ Lounge Passes.
On sunny days we have free sunscreen available and we also deal with lost/ found property.

Horse Trainers will receive their free Racebooks at the Raceday Office and Winning Owners can collect their complimentary DVDs at the end of the race meeting from the Raceday Office.

Betting Facilities

Pinjarra Race Club provides over 20 tote terminals. The main tote area is under the Grandstand, next to the Main Bar. Further tote terminals are located at the Ledger Bar and Bookies Bar. There are also tote facilities available in the Members’ Lounge, operating to both sides of the Members' Area.

Punters have the opportunity to have a bet with local bookmakers who are waiting for you in the bookies ring.

Public Seating

Public Seating is available in front of the Mounting Yard and more than half of the Grandstand is open to the public. The Pinjarra Race Club provides a number of free tables and chairs but you are welcome to bring your own picnic chairs.

Merchandising

Come and collect a worthwhile memento of a great day at the races!

Our Merchandise Kiosk offers a wide range of Pinjarra Park Souvenirs including Stubby Holders, Polo Shirts (sizes S-XXXL in green and white), Caps and, of course, Racebooks.

Stubby Holders are also available at all bars and the Raceday Office.

EFTPOS

EFTPOS is available at the Raceday Office on all racedays. On weekends and public holidays EFTPOS is also available at the Main Tote under the Grandstand. There is no strict limit to your cash withdrawals, but please note that CREDIT ACCOUNTS can NOT be utilised on-course.

Toilet Facilities

Public Toilets and a Disabled Persons Toilet are located between the Merchandising Kiosk and the Family of Man Restaurant. Additional toilets are available in the Members’ Lounge.

Disabled Facilities

The car park has several disabled parking spaces close to the Main Entry Gate. Please ask our friendly car park staff for assistance.

Disabled Toilets are located within the Public Toilet complex. Unfortunately there are no Disabled Facilities in the Members’ Lounge.

Wheelchair viewing platforms (accessible via a ramp) are located at the front of the Grandstand’s Public Seating Area.

First Aid

Minor cuts and scratches??? Feeling unwell???
The First Aid Room is located behind the Raceday Office. We are certain that our friendly First Aid Staff will put a smile on your face again.

An Ambulance and a Raceday Doctor are also on-course for every race meeting.

Video Van

The Video Van is located opposite the Takeaway Window. All Winning Owners will receive a free DVD after their race. The DVDs can also be picked up at the Raceday Office after the race meeting.

Course Photographer

Our Course Photographer, Scott Hollands, and his team take high quality race photos on every meeting. If you would like a snap-shot of your favourite horse, just see Scott at his stand next to the Leger Bar.
