The entry terms and conditions, and some handy information, set by the committee and executive of the Pinjarra Race Club Inc. (Pinjarra Park) to help every racegoer have a relaxing day at the races. Every race club is different and operates independently, so please read the following.
The venue
Just like any professional sports venue, certain restrictions apply to the items you can bring to the races. Pinjarra Park is a licensed premises for the service of alcohol and, in addition, a licensed racecourse for the provision of racing and gambling.
Pinjarra Park, including its car parks, is private property. Parking areas are provided at the Club's discretion for racegoers only.
The rules and regulations set out in the terms and conditions displayed at the entry points are in place because of our liquor licence house rules and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) obligations, the Liquor Control Act 1988, occupational safety and health requirements, the Racing and Wagering WA Rules of Racing and general venue rules, so that every racegoer enjoys a pleasant day at the races.
Persons under 18 are welcome on course but must be strictly supervised by a responsible adult. Liquor enforcement inspectors recommend that unaccompanied or lost children are escorted by Club officials or security to the race day office and their parents called over the PA system.

Your own food and sealed non-alcoholic drinks in cans. They may be enjoyed in the grounds, but not in the restaurants or the Members' area.

- Personal water bottles (e.g. flasks, insulated containers, Yeti-style insulated bottles), provided they are empty on entry. A cold, filtered water refill station is available under the grandstand for refills throughout the day.
- Prams, eskies and bags, all made available for checking at the gate
It is a condition of entry that all bags and other carriers, including drink coolers, containers with broken seals, flasks, eskies and prams, are made available to be checked for prohibited goods before entry is granted.
Not permitted
The following are prohibited on course.
- Alcoholic beverages
- Opened soft drink containers
- Glassware
- Knives or weapons of any kind, as deemed by the Pinjarra Race Club
- BBQ's and gas bottles, unless with prior written consent from Pinjarra Park
- Market umbrellas, mobile structures, camper-type structures and tents, including anything that can flap or needs fixing to the ground and could damage irrigation
- Animals, except as approved by Pinjarra Park and insured vendors; guide dogs are permitted, but not near horses
- Flags, signage, balloons and banners, unless with prior written consent from Pinjarra Park
- Any projectiles as deemed by the Pinjarra Race Club, including balls, to avoid harm to horses and participants
- Signage of any description unless approved in writing by the CEO
- Offensive clothing or wording, as deemed by the Pinjarra Race Club or the CEO
- Persons disqualified under RWWA, Australian or international Rules of Racing
- Persons previously removed or banned from the venue
Responsible service of alcohol
As a licensed venue, the Club enforces a strict Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) policy and will not tolerate anti-social behaviour under any circumstances, whether or not the person is RWWA licensed.
The Club reserves the right to refuse admission to the Club premises should our staff believe it necessary for the quiet enjoyment of patrons in general.
Patrons who appear under 25 and propose to drink alcohol will be asked to provide ID to obtain a wristband for service. RSA officers monitor the crowd for anti-social behaviour, and patrons must leave the premises immediately if asked to do so by security. It is a serious prosecutable offence under the Liquor Control Act to refuse to leave licensed premises when asked to do so by an RSA or Club officer.
Under RSA guidelines and the Club's licence, alcohol cannot be taken past the admission gates. Unfinished alcohol must be disposed of or it will be confiscated by security before you exit.
Refund policy
If a race meeting is called off during the race day and before the feature event, as deemed by the Pinjarra Race Club, the Club will issue general admission tickets of equal value to a future meeting to patrons who apply by contacting us.
No other refunds apply to marquees, gazebos or dining if the race meeting is cancelled on the day, where these can still be taken or used as deemed by the Club.
No dining package cancellations, except any beverage component as deemed by the Club, will be refunded if cancelled by the client less than 4 business days before the race meeting.
Where the Club cancels a meeting more than 4 business days before a hired marquee or dining booking, the booking is refunded in full or transferred to another meeting, subject to availability and a possible price adjustment on application.
Adverse weather conditions, current, forecast or on the day of racing, are not accepted by the Club as justification for a refund.
The Club reserves the right to update, alter or withdraw any of these terms and conditions at any time, at its absolute discretion and without prior notice.
