Dress Code

Pinjarra Park’s Dress Code will be strictly enforced within the Member's Lounge area.

No Children are permitted to REMAIN in the Members Lounge or Committee Room areas UNLESS passing thru to the adjacent Bridles (from the Members Lounge) or going to the toilet supervised.

Due to limited upstairs facilities adjacent Bridles Restaurant and Committee/Sponsors Lounge guests may use toilets however must return to respective rooms immediately.

To avoid any Member inconvenience on race day please ensure that your attire, and that of your guests, is appropriate for these areas. The following guidelines should assist in clarifying what is and is not acceptable, however, Pinjarra Park retains the right to refuse entry to any person considered inappropriately attired.

These guidelines also apply to children 12 years and over in the Bridles Area remembing No Children are permitted to remain in the Members Lounge.

Members, wishing to bring children upstairs are welcome to enquire at the office, make a booking for the Bridles Lounge, if required, on a shared table with supervised (by said member) children remaining in same.

Gentlemen

Gentlemen are required to wear tailored pants/trousers with a collared shirt and closed in dress shoes. Suits, sports coats or blazers, plus tie or bow tie, are also perfectly acceptable and encouraged, particularly on feature days.

Tailored shorts with Leather Sandals, strap across the heal an absolute minimum. 

Fedora or Appropriate Race Head Ware accepted 

Not Acceptable

  • Any of the following footwear -  joggers, sports shoes, track shoes, runners, sandals, thongs, dilapidated footwear, scuffs, gumboots or ugg boots
  • Jeans, jodhpurs, tracksuit pants, cargo pants, untailored pants, elasticized  trouser legs
  • Shorts such as boardies, football etc. - Tailored shorts with Leather Sandals,strap across the heal an absolute minimum. 
  • T-shirts as well as any shirt without a collar
  • Parkas, duffle coats, windbreakers, tracksuit tops, golf and yachting weatherproofs, denim jackets, rugby tops and football jerseys, anoraks and driza-bone jackets
  • No oversized belt buckles
  • Torn or ripped clothing including ‘designer tears’
  • Peaked caps or beanies - Fedora or Appropriate Race Head Ware accepted 
  • Denim

Ladies

Ladies are expected to maintain a suitable standard in keeping with the style and dignity of the aforementioned areas. Dresses and skirts are to be of modest length. Fascinators and hats are encouraged, particularly on feature days

Not Acceptable

  • Any form of the following footwear - joggers, sports shoes, track shoes, runners, thongs, dilapidated footwear, scuffs, gumboots or ugg boots
